Marta Zawadzka (b. 1981) is a Polish artist whose work is defined by movement, energy, and an focus on the uplifting power of color. A graduate of Architecture and Urban Planning from the Technical University (2000-2005), she currently lives and works in Warsaw, creating art that resonates with a global audience.
Artistic Style
Marta’s background in architecture informs her dynamic compositions. She combines fluorescent paints, acrylics, and spray paint to bring to life icons from the worlds of art, music, film, and sports. Her work is frequently described by collectors as “Prozac on canvas”—reflecting the joy and optimism it radiates.

Statement
Every painting session, every canvas is a process of transformation
My creative process is intuitive and free. I allow expression to flow from my subconscious onto the canvas, without prior sketches, striving for harmony.
My paintings are portals of transformation into a world of joy and love. I meditate and infuse them with positive intentions to awaken passion, optimism, lightness, and creativity in the viewer’s heart.
I am constantly in motion, and the richness of life, travel, landscapes, and new cultures is an inexhaustible source of inspiration for me. I never know where my fascination will take me. Will I be captivated by a face and the character reflected in it, the interplay of colors in the distance, the dynamism of Formula 1, or the chords of a guitar? Any subject can become the inspiration for a painting.
Strong colors are a concentrated force that enhances the mood and has a direct impact on emotions and feelings. I love using sunlit hues that illuminate, radiate warmth, and allow me to capture the mood of the moment. I am fascinated by fluorescent colors and their glow under ultraviolet light, which has the magical power to breathe new life into each of my paintings, giving them an entirely new dimension.
